Welcome to my scrapbook: "Eastern France in 14 Days!" I'm happy to share my travel experiences with you!
My vacation was June 26-July 13, 2014. As you will see, I love France. This was both my second Rick Steves tour and second tour to France. (You can read about the first here.)
My website is broken down by the cities we visited on the tour, including shorter stops like Verdun and Annecy. You will find each destination via the Menu on the top-right of each page, or the buttons at the bottom. Each of those sections is then divided into three sub-sections:
-"Background" covers a little bit of the town's history; our tour highlights; sightseeing options; and other similar information.
-"Food & Wine" (or "Champagne" or "Beer") covers the food of the region, including our group meals, in more detail.
-"Tips & Discoveries" is where I share travel advice and tips I picked up along the way, as well as those special surprises you don't plan for that make the trip extra special.
While I definitely could go more in depth about village history, wine information or sightseeing choices, I chose not to, as you can find this information in Rick's books or online. Instead, I include fun facts, journal entries, and reasons why a RS Tour is a smart choice!
Feel free to contact me at the end of my scrapbook. Happy reading, and even happier travels!
